## The evidence behind hormone therapy

Hormone therapy is among the most studied treatments for vasomotor symptoms, hot flashes and night sweats, and for genitourinary symptoms like vaginal dryness. The 2002 Women’s Health Initiative study created lasting fear around hormone therapy. In the years since, reanalysis and newer research have substantially refined that picture, showing that risk varies significantly with age, time since menopause, personal history, and the form of therapy. None of that makes MHT risk-free or right for everyone; it makes individual clinical judgment the whole game.

## How Parée applies the evidence

Parée offers HRT and, when hormones aren’t appropriate or wanted, non-hormonal options. Every option is part of the same membership. If none is appropriate, your clinician can advise you about next steps.
